Is it that time again already?! Yes, the family friendly biennial YARLINGTON FRINGE is back again on the first bank holiday in May (May 3rd – 5th). This is the best value you can get, in or out of the EU, because its FREE!! The weekend opens at the village hall on Friday evening with an exhibition of works by established local artists. Then just come down to the centre of the village with all the family and enjoy The Lime Blues Trio (Friday), old friends Kangaroo Moon (Saturday) and soak up the eclectic mix of the West Camel Acoustic experience through Saturday and Sunday daytime. Other events include drumming, handbell and stainglass workshops, the Langport Mummers play and learn ballroom dancing. If none of this appeals then anyone over 7 upwards should join up for the community opera ‘The Magic Flute’ directed by musical magician Karen Gillingham, and be part of its creation, evolution and eventual presentation (in substantially reduced form!!)
Events are funded by sales of food and drink .
