Thanks to all the hard work and dedication of the East Somerset Friends of hft, (formerly known as the Home Farm Trust) founded in 1978.) under the Chairmanship of Carolyn , Countess De Salis, this year’s Christmas Fair in Wincanton raised an astounding £14000+ !
This was the Countess’ last fair as she has now stepped down after a very long Chairmanship . Her enthusiasm and tireless efforts on behalf of the charity have been immense and very much appreciated .
Founded in 1962, hft was originally known as the Home Farm Trust. Today, the charity provides local support services for people with learning disabilities, their families and carers throughout England. These services can be residential or part time, perhaps for no more than a few hours a week.
hft works closely with families, local authorities and other partners to find the best solution to meet a person’s needs. This flexible approach means support can be given from as little as two hours a week to 24 hours a day.
