St Mary’s Yarlington receives vital funding for essential repairs works.

St Mary’s Church Yarlington has recently undergone substantial repair work. Dating back to the 11th century, the tower had become unstable and the essential repairs included conservation works to the tower pinnacles and repointing of the stonework using lime mortar.

The works were made possible by generous donations from The Heritage Lottery Fund, Viridor and Awards for All, with the village contributing funds raised at their now famous Yarlington Fayre and from other enterprises, collective and individual.
